(“NCAP”), a wholly owned subsidiary of Nomura Holdings, Inc., announced that it has acquired common shares in Cook Deli Co., Ltd. through Nomura Capital A1 Investment Limited Partnership, a fund managed by NCAP. The percentage of shares acquired and investment amount are undisclosed.

Cook Deli’s mission is to create a safety net to provide food for the elderly.

The company delivers healthy, fully-cooked meals at a reasonable price to elderly care facilities throughout Japan. The meals are highly rated by many elderly care facilities for being delicious and rich in variety.
